On September 27 President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov has met with General Director of "MEZREGIONGAS" and trustee of "GASPROM" Cyril Seleznev.
The matter of the negotiations was development of gas pipeline system and development of cooperation between Bashkortostan and the gas corporation. President RB has marked that growth of Republican economics, in particular development of Bashkir fuel-energy complex, is directed first of all to rising of living standards for Republican population. Murtaza Rakhimov called increase of investments into social sphere and upsurge of production capacities at Republican enterprises, especially in machine-building sphere, the top priority direction in activity of Republican leadership.
Cyril Seleznev has reported that thanks to exact performing of obligations on cooperation by Bashkortostan "GASPROM" is ready to put two gas mains, scheduled on 2007, into exploitation already in 2006.
"Besides, "GASPROM" is ready to expand gas deliveries into Republic for population and housing-communal sphere RB" - Cyril Seleznev added.
