Billionaire and State Duma Deputy Alexander Lebedev acknowledged Wednesday that he was a source for a controversial Forbes Russia story about Inteko, the construction company headed by Yelena Baturina.
Inteko on Monday threatened to sue Forbes to reveal the sources of the "un-true information" it claimed to have found in the story.
"I suggest that head of the company stop looking for a cat in a dark room. One of the sources is me," said Lebedev, a fierce critic of Baturina"s husband, Mayor Yury Luzhkov.
